August 20, 2011: OMG PAX!!

Next week is PAX Prime? Really? Wasn't PAX East just last month?

No matter what our mental calendars tell us, it's time for PAX Prime in Seattle once again. We'll be there running a ton of demos in the area informally known as "the Corral," and Steve will be signing every day at 4pm. When he's done signing, around 5:30pm, we'll do our traditional drawing for the Mega-Chibithulhu.

But rather than resting on our laurels, we're kicking our PAX presence up a notch this year! The glowing pyramid tower will mark our place. The capsule machine from Gen Con will be reloaded with more Munchkin pawns, more in-game bonuses, more dice, more Munchkin coins . . . heck, more of everything!

Also, for the first time in many many years, we'll be doing a full-scale retail presence in Room 201, right across the hall from the Corral. Besides a mountain of Munchkin, Munchkin Deluxe, and Munchkin Zombies, we'll have a plethora of items normally exclusive to Warehouse 23, including the Cthulhu Sherpa, Munchkin Zombies Removable Thumb Drives, Illuminati pins, and shot glasses . . . oh, the shot glasses!

Not satisfied to be just a Steve Jackson Games store, copies of Castle Panic and Bloodsuckers from Fireside Games will be available -- our old friend Justin will be helping us out in the demo zone during the day, but his nights will be spent running his own creations! Green Ronin has also sent a selection from their wide catalog: Dragon Age Set 2, Mutants & Masterminds Hero's Handbook, DC Heroes & Villains Vol. 1, Pathfinder Freeport Companion, and more!

Yes, there will be plenty of goodies to . . . What's that? We might get a case of Trophy Buck, Munchkin Dice Bags, Reindeer Games, and Giant Cthulhu Dice? If the winds are right and Cthulhu doesn't rise, we'll have a limited number of each of these available. If you really want one of these, check with us on Friday morning . . . and if the supplies fall into the Space Where Socks Go and don't arrive in time for the show, we apologize in advance.
